-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | | | How to clean black tips of silver cutlery | | | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Since I am bartender and waiter I thought to write an article on how to clean those unwanted black tips of silver cutlery... This is a cheaper way to clean without using the expensive silver products. You only need few things. Step 01: Take a metallic seau ą glace, which you use for champagne or white wine. Fill it with hot/warm water. Step 02: After that throw in one (or two if you want to be sure) handful of salt. Also throw in 3 or 4 centiliters of red vinegar. Step 03: Now strip a sheet of tinfoil paper (the alluminium cooking paper). make a ball out of it but do not press it too much. Throw it in the water. Step 04: At least take some, let us say 5-6 forks or whatever and sting the tips against the tinfoil paper and approaching the fund some times. Take them out wash the cutlery under cold water and immidiately dry them. Voilį, you are done. The chemical reaction works for 7 centimeters from the bottom... I do it myself everytime it is needed and works perfectly. The credits go to SuperSfabriz, who teached me how to do this simple cleaning. If you have questions... just mail me ;) Have a nice time.
